Atlanta has several rappers helping to keep the city on top when it comes to the releases of hip hop music. This year, Rich Homie Quan separated himself from the pack to become a breakout artist. His success came on the heels of his “Type of Way” single that took radio over.
Released early this year, initially, the mixtape track went on to become one of the biggest records of the summer. Rich Homie Quan went from being a virtual no-name outside of the street circuit to being discussed on ESPN. Fame can literally happen overnight, so he is living his life in the moment.
Recently, Rich Homie Quan performed “Type of Way” in Columbus, Ohio. Too bad some of the people in the crowd couldn’t soak in the moment the way Rich Homie Quan was. In the middle of his performance, gunshots began ringing out, which obviously led to the show being cut short and Rich Homie Quan departing.
