The first person to admit Kanye West is not a likable person is Kanye West. He has said Jay-Z is a likable person and this is one reason he soaks in so much when they are together. This is touched on with the Watch The Throne album on the single entitled “New Day.”
Since then, Kanye West has done a lot of what he rapped about on the song and has a child with Kim Kardashian. Fans have seen Kanye West share scenes with the entire family on their reality show, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” This new spotlight has allowed the masses to see Kanye West.
Outsiders (and insiders for that matter) view Kanye West as an egotistical jerk, for the most part. Meanwhile, the Kardashians have simply been an object of discussion for the better part of a decade. Recent magazines with Kim Kardashian on the cover have not sold well, including a publication that paid $11,000 for a photo of Kim and the issue only sold 400,000 copies, 70,000 less than usual.
A magazine publisher spoke to The New York Times and he said the sales are down on Kardashian covers because of Kanye West and how he portrays himself. He said Kanye West comes off as “nasty and aggressive” and that people don’t like him, thus don’t want to read about him or know about his life.
