50 Cent reportedly being pressed by Jimmy Iovine to make amends with Game to reunite G-Unit to release his new album

50 Cent 19Following the release of 2009’s Before I Self Destruct, it was safe to assume 50 Cent was obligated to drop an album every other year. His career, thus far, had seen him put out albums in 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2009. But, 50 Cent made it clear his next album would be coming in 2010.

Going through several concepts and titles, 50 Cent has not put out anything in spite of being ready to. Last year, 50 Cent got angry with his label and put out an album independently, 5 (Murder by Numbers). Since then, 50 Cent has not released any music and fans are wondering what the holdup is about.

Today, rumors surfaced of Jimmy Iovine putting pressure on 50 Cent, who owes one more album to Interscope Records. It’s been said that he is pressuring 50 Cent to make up with Game and reunite G-Unit. Once he does that, 50 Cent reportedly can put out his next album.
