Timbaland is one of the most-gifted composers hip hop has ever seen and he has worked with Aaliyah, Missy Elliott, Ja Rule, Chris Brown, DMX, Jay-Z, Jadakiss, and countless others. He gave a lot of his personal time to developing Aaliyah and helped the Clipse duo of Pusha T and No Malice early on. His work has the DMV now on.
After almost two decades in the game, Timbaland is still working his magic and it has taken him to Brooklyn. The latest artist Timbaland is helping to develop is BK Brasco, as his name suggests, is from Brooklyn. BK Brasco is currently working on his new EP, which is called 18th Floor: Thompson Hotel Edition.
Alongside DJ Louie Styles, yours truly was on hand at the listening party on behalf of Hip Hop Vibe. With Heavy Dedication TV filming, we talked to BK Brasco about his work with Timbaland and his take on reality TV. He spoke on the EP and mentioned collaborations with Pusha T and Mario and he spoke on Jay-Z and Jimmy Iovine.
