Before Kanye West, Adidas was already building with G.O.O.D. Music, as their female emcee, Teyana Taylor, had her Harlem GLC shoe with him.
Teyana Taylor is one of the popular rising artists in the game, but she does have a major strike against her. This year, Teyana Taylor made plenty of news for her “beef” with pop singer, Rihanna. Their situation has shown no signs of improvement and it was rumored that this led to Adidas ending their business affiliation with her.
Now, there are sources close to Teyana Taylor reporting this is not the case, according to Necole Bitchie. A rep leaked a statement to Necole Bitchie’s website that denies Teyana Taylor’s sneaker not dropping on Black Friday because of Rihanna. But, there was confirmation about the project being on hold.
