Republican racist political candidate wins election by pretending to be black

Dave WilsonThis news isn’t hip hop, but it’s definitely an interesting story. Anybody following politics knows that the overall political infrastructure is in shambles. People hate all politicians, but the Republicans are catching it especially hard, which is why they have started to change their tactics.

Dave Wilson is a Republican politician from Houston, Texas and he came up with a unique way to win his election. A racist, anti-gay, politician, Dave Wilson rode the name of a popular black politician, Roy Wilson, to win his election. He got random images of black people and used them for his campaign posters.

Without showing his own face, Dave Wilson said he was endorsed by Roy Wilson, who happens to be his cousin. What he conveniently left out was how the Roy Wilson in question was not the politician, but his cousin in Iowa. Because of how he won the election and how close it was, a recount is being demanded.
