Pusha T is surprised that 2 Chainz isn’t on G.O.O.D. Music

Pusha T Vlad TVIn the years following “Duffle Bag Boy,” 2 Chainz took to the streets to keep himself relevant. Both he and Dolla Boy released mixtapes that circulated the streets and were redistributed on the internet. A result of this was 2 Chainz building a major fan base and soon the game began paying attention.

Until 2011, 2 Chainz was known as Tity Boi, but when he changed his name, the game changed for him. It was only a matter of time before Def Jam offered 2 Chainz a partnership deal for him to develop artists under his own label. Kanye West soon began working with 2 Chainz and made him a member of G.O.O.D. Music.

A lot of people had a hard time making out the difference between 2 Chainz making music with Kanye West and being a part of his label. It turns out, G.O.O.D. Music was a little confused by this too. Pusha T revealed to Vlad TV that he didn’t even know 2 Chainz wasn’t with G.O.O.D. Music and he’s surprised.
