Very disturbing news surfaced last week when it was revealed the two-year-old son of popular NFL star, Adrian Peterson, was beaten. On Wednesday, the little boy was beaten with a metal rod by the boyfriend of his mother and he was rushed to a hospital in Sioux Falls. The Minnesota Vikings star rushed to be by the side of his son.
According to reports, Adrian Peterson only recently learned that the child was his and he was making his way into the little boy’s life. The mother of the child has been involved with a man named Robert Patterson, who is being held in police custody. Non-responsive all of last week, Adrian Peterson got the call no parent wants.
Today, Adrian Peterson learned his son died and he is taking it in stride. His coaches are obviously sympathetic of his situation, but they expect him to still make it to the practices. Adrian Peterson was calm in the eyes of the media and said the Lord never places too much on a person.
