Three years have gone by since Eminem has last released a new album and he has taken it back to the old school. Both in his career and the stages of his career, Eminem has returned to its roots. The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is the name of the album and the first single, “Berzerk,” is reminiscent of The Beastie Boys’ sound.
Eminem has, arguably, the most-anticipated album of the year and his album comes in the midst of a stacked year for hip hop. Several comeback albums have come this year in addition to mixtapes. As it currently stands, 2013 has seen activity from everyone ranging from Master P to Styles P.
Throw a little Eminem and Jay-Z in and it makes for a complete year in hip hop. The release date for The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is set for November 5. Already, the track listing for the album was released and it drew a lot of attention. Now, Eminem is hoping for the same reaction with the release of the deluxe edition cover.
