The summer was a pretty hectic period for almost everybody on the team, so it seems anyway. But, it’s fall and everybody’s settled back into the rat race and still turning up, so HHV First Look is back and better than ever. Vaste Collections is the latest clothing line featured.
Based out of Southern California, Vaste Collections captures the essence of what truly is the SoCal area. Many associate Southern California with vacations and warm weather. This is the perfect line to introduce, seeing how the fall season is setting in here on the East Coast and the weather is getting cooler.
Vaste Collections has a nice fall line coming up that is for everybody, regardless of the location. In the return of HHV First Look, Travis Scholl, the founder and head of the brand talked about his product. Travis Scholl did a brief interview speaking about the basics of Vaste Collections and what to look out for.

With you clothing line being very SoCal, how do you intend to market it to the urban audience? I think the Southern California vibe is a vibe that a lot of brands put out, but don’t have it’s roots. Originality may start when an East Coast kid starts wearing West Coast items, you know?
Do you feel the hipster trend in hip hop has played into your hands? I believe my brand has the ability to become timeless, but I think all trends can temporarily help other small lines gain exposure in all ways.
Did you worry about naming the clothing line after yourself, or did you feel it was a positive for you? Actually, the brand isn’t named after me the creator, but I’ve (in a way) created myself to be linked with the brand as long is it remains mine. My actual name is Travis Scholl, but I’ve noticed new faces believe my name to be Travis Vaste. Maybe I should have it legally changed?
Which design has been a favorite among both the team and the customers? Most of my local support enjoy the designs using the lighter blue colors, such as the “V Waves” and “Vaste Boats” tee due to the positive blues vibes. It’s an eye catching color.
