Ten years ago, what Jay-Z was doing seemed major because of how he had expanded the Roc-A-Fella Records roster and became a bigger mogul. In the midst of his moves in the music business, Jay-Z purchased an ownership stake in the Nets. This past spring, Jay-Z sold his stake in the Nets.
Jay-Z is now a high-powered sports agent that represents such names as NBA superstar, Kevin Durant, among others. When Jay-Z “retired” from the rap game, many felt Fabolous would assume the “king” position in the game. Instead, Jay-Z never fully retired from the game.
In this period of time, Jay-Z had started his S. Carter shoe collection with Reebok, which has since discontinued. Reebok is the center of plenty of hip hop discussion in the midst of the Rick Ross situation. Fabolous recently spoke on it and revealed he thinks Reebok should revisit their Jay-Z shoe.
