This summer has provided some of everything in hip hop. As it is every summer, a lot of new artists rose to the forefront of the game. Chris Rivers is arguably the brightest star and the biggest discussion and it’s not because he’s Big Pun’s son. Instead, it’s because he’s Big Pun’s son and he is making his own name.
Back in June, Chris Rivers dropped his Wonderland of Misery mixtape. His momentum has continued to build since the release of the mixtape and Chris Rivers isn’t stopping. Chris Rivers is working on his debut album and he has the support of the industry, Tony Sunshine told Hip Hop Vibe he supports him.
Earlier this week, Hip Hop Vibe met up with Chris Rivers in the studio and he talked about his career. Chris Rivers had a good laugh, as DJ Whoo Kid’s early days were mentioned and he spoke on being Big Pun’s son and his memories. He also talked about Wonderland of Misery and his upcoming mixtape.
