KRS-One shuns mainstream hip hop, threatens to sue if radio stations play his music [VIDEO]

Usually, the only time KRS-One appears is during a documentary or some form of hip hop special and it turns out that’s how he likes it. Before there was a mainstream hip hop, there was KRS-One and with mainstream hip hop eroding, he still stands. KRS-One continues releasing new music, but he does not want the mainstream attention.

Music has changed and the hip hop of late barely resembles the way it was when KRS-One and his people battled the Bridge. Hip hop has changed and older heads argue that the music out now should not even be considered hip hop. Some take this more seriously than others.

KRS-One is one of those people against the mainstream and he showed WhoMag.net exactly how serious he was about that. He gave them an interview and he told them, straight up, he hates the mainstream and is good without it. Going even further, he said he would sue any radio station who played his music.
