In the following months, Gunplay focused more on beating his robbery case and he celebrated with another mixtape after he did that. Gunplay was Maybach Music’s breakout star last year and the center of controversy this year.
Last week, a photo surfaced online of an unconscious man being beaten that bore a resemblance to Gunplay. The media and 50 Cent took it and ran with it, but Gunplay’s team has yet to address the images. A man on Twitter took credit for being the one to supposedly beat Gunplay, but there was no official word.
Now, a man from Florida has taken to YouTube to officially break his silence. The man confirms that it is Gunplay in the photograph and that he was responsible for his unconscious state. He is a local Tampa rapper who, along with many other rappers, ended up getting into it with Gunplay.
