During the recent Hip Hop Vibe reflections for the Big Tymers and Jay-Z, an interesting question was brought up, what ever happened to Boo & Gotti? Little known to the world, Boo & Gotti dropped an album in 2003 on Cash Money Records. They went to the label after R. Kelly’s Rockland Records fell apart.
With the exception of these flashbacks, Boo & Gotti disappeared for the most part in the new era of hip hop. A lot of people have asked what happened to the duo, as they worked with the likes of Jay-Z, Ja Rule, and many more. Now, Gotti made his official return for an interview.
Gotti does not do interviews, but N.O.R.E. prompted him to talk with Forbez DVD and he gave people an update. He explained what happened with R. Kelly and the label situation he had. Later in the interview, Gotti talked about Cash Money Records and their album flopping and his 2008 departure, denying beef with anyone.
