In the early 2000s, there were several rappers who came out and sold phenomenal amounts of albums. They set Billboard ablaze with their chart-topping music, but most all came to a halt by 2006. Nelly is not exempt from this, as his music post-2005 has fallen flat with fans.

That has not stopped Nelly from releasing more music and he is preparing his seventh studio album, M.O. Nelly started the summer off with his “Get Like Me” single that saw him reunite with Pharrell and link with Nicki Minaj. In the three years she has been at the forefront, Nicki Minaj has helped provide extra hits to many artists.

However, in the case of Nelly, Nicki Minaj was not much help. Either way, Nelly is gearing up for the release of M.O. and he has a new single out called “Heaven.” His new single is making waves and Nelly is getting ready for the September 30 release of his new album by releasing the artwork for the project.
