A$AP Rocky responds to Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse on Revolt TV [VIDEO]

When Kendrick Lamar said he was king of New York on Big Sean’s “Control,” a lot of people expected a lot of New York rappers to respond. Fabolous was at the top of the list simply due to his bold talk about taking over and putting on for New York. But, among the New York rappers mentioned was A$AP Rocky.

By all means, A$AP Rocky is one of the biggest New York rappers to debut in the past ten years. Earlier this year, A$AP Rocky dropped his debut album, Long.Live.A$AP, which dropped back in January. The album did 150,000 copies in its first week, which is strong first week album sales.

A$AP Rocky, alongside Kendrick Lamar and many more rappers mentioned, was present in Philadelphia for the Made in America Festival. While he was at the festival, he spoke to Revolt TV. They discussed A$AP Rocky’s take on “Control” and the infamous verse from Kendrick Lamar during the interview.
