Certain things, hip hop fans just know Jay-Z will not do. During the auto-tune era, Jay-Z made it clear he would not partake and he also dismissed skinny jeans. Jay-Z, over the course of his career, set trends and did not follow them. However, a lot of people have been intrigued by the idea of Jay-Z doing a mixtape.
A few years ago, Fabolous publicly discussed Jay-Z doing a mixtape, practically pleading for him to do so. Hip hop fans often dream of things from their favorite hip hop artists that never end up coming to pass. However, it looks like fans who wanted to hear a Jay-Z mixtape.
DJ Green Lantern did a brief interview with Nah Right today and he revealed there was a mixtape with Jay-Z that he hosted. In this interview, DJ Green Lantern revealed he hosted a Jay-Z mixtape in 2006. Presidential Invasion was the name of the Jay-Z mixtape that was a prequel for Kingdom Come.
