Baseball doesn’t find its way into rap lyrics the way basketball and football do. But, when baseball was mentioned in lyrics, chances were it was either Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, or Barry Bonds being mentioned. Derek Jeter is a fan favorite because of the amount of times he won, consecutively.
Everyone has dreams in life and not all of them get the chance to realize them. At one time or another, most people dreamed of being a major sports star. Watching guys such as Derek Jeter do serve as motivation for children still trying to find their way in life.
Derek Jeter recently sat down with ThisIs50.com and Young Jack Thriller managed to get a portion of his time. In their conversation, Derek Jeter spoke on the rap game and his preferences. Only speaking for a minute, Derek Jeter named his top five rappers of all-time.
