Despite his hardcore appearance, Waka Flocka Flame is one of the most-open emcees in the game. A couple of years ago, Waka Flocka Flame shocked the world when he stripped down for PETA. Out of all people, who would’ve guessed Waka Flocka Flame had a soft spot for pets?
Waka Flocka Flame did it and he caused a lot of major headlines. But, at least the headlines were about something positive, as opposed to what most hip hop stars go through. In recent months, Waka Flocka Flame has also shown support to embattled former teen star, Amanda Bynes.
With Peter Bailey for NBC’s “Nitecap,” Waka Flocka Flame discussed another topic taboo to hip hop, homosexuality. Like it or not, homosexuality has gained a prominent place on television, right there beside love. Waka Flocka Flame talked about this plus his engagement.
