For someone who has followed 2 Chainz over the past year, it has been a pleasure to watch him grow from being another mixtape rapper on the scene to being the star he is now. This man is a testament that it is never too late to take over. Before the end of the year, he will have released two albums.
In between time, 2 Chainz also has kept himself going with guest appearances. Many of the biggest hit singles and mixtape anthems have features from 2 Chainz. Within itself, that is a testament to his work ethic and shows the wide range of popularity he possesses.
R. Kelly took a break from hip hop and moved into more of a soul sound. But, as he works his way back to the hip hop side of the industry, R. Kelly linked up with one of the biggest names out. Arguably, this will be 2 Chainz’ biggest collaboration yet, appearing on R. Kelly’s “My Story,” included on his Black Panties.
