Out of all the rappers in the game, 2 Chainz probably was the hottest rapper in the game last year. He is still riding the wave of his Based on a T.R.U. Story debut, while working on his sophomore album, Me Time. A sequel to his debut album, 2 Chainz has the “Feds Watching” single with Pharrell doing well.
Finally removed from the street life, 2 Chainz is in a position where he is focusing strictly on business. Recently, 2 Chainz made major headlines over him revealing how much he charges for a verse. There was a misunderstanding, but 2 Chainz has gone out of his way to clear it up.
“The Breakfast Club’s” trio of Angela Yee, DJ Envy, and Charlamagne Tha God talked to 2 Chainz this morning. During this interview, 2 Chainz talked about shooting the video with Fabolous, charging artists, his features, the new album, and his focus. 2 Chainz plans to drop the new album on September 10.
