Nas discusses racism on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” [VIDEO]

In addition to receiving news about Nas having an upcoming single with Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake, he is also speaking on some issues. One of the leading social topics is the death of Trayvon Martin and the acquittal of George Zimmerman. The people are outraged and the race debate has emerged.

Anyone who listens to Nas’ music know he speaks on situations just like these both on his records and when he speaks out. The Queensbridge emcee has held the game down and has remained one of hip hop’s few social backbones. Nas has become just as much of a fixture on CNN as he is any hip hop website.

Nas recently appeared on CNN, on “Anderson Cooper 360.” Talking with Anderson Cooper, Nas debated about the issue of race. Trayvon Martin’s death has provoked a fierce race debate and Nas delivered his stance on the situation and this topic should be prominent on his next album.
