A month ago, Cashville’s Dice talked to Hip Hop Vibe about his then-upcoming mixtape/street album, Rap or Die. What a difference a month makes, Cashville’s Dice has dropped the mixtape and now is on the promo run. Cashville’s Dice went all out on the project, with Trap-A-Holics, DJ Frank White, and DJ Plugg handling the hosting.

Rap or Die is something Cashville’s Dice has worked on for some time. In putting this mixtape together, Cashville’s Dice made a lot of changes. The final product came out last night and if the Twitter reaction is any indication, the project is going to be one of the biggest independent releases of the year.

Hip Hop Vibe had to get back up with Cashville’s Dice and get another chance to speak with him. He is still basking in the glory of Rap or Die and he took the time out of his schedule to sit down and discuss the new project, which he is very excited about. Keeping things brief, Cashville’s Dice spoke on the mixtape’s hosts, the guests, and the atmosphere surrounding his movement.

Read the entire interview below:

So, how does it feel to finally release Rap or Die? Feels awesome man, just because of what I been through to get it done. The obstacles, the hurdles, the rocks, in my way and I got through it and it came out better than I expected. I just want people to know me for being honest in my music and real.

Are you pleased with how it came together? Yeah, I’m pleased. I went through like thirty songs, a lot of good records didn’t make it that will be on Rap or Die 2 with Swamp Izzo, DJ Ace, and DJ Mix Master G November 8th. I think timing is everything and every thing happens for a reason.

Did the guest appearances come together the way you thought? I think so many artists jumped on it and worked with me off the yard just on love, because they were good street records. I like working with people I listen to. Before I’m an artist, I’m always a fan.

During our last interview, you said there was a reason you dropped on July 4, not Independence Day, can you explain this? It’s just a day for celebration, not only of Independence Day but of the Growth Development that I been apart of NATION wide so it’s a personal special day to me.

Where can we go to download this project? Yeah. It’s on LiveMixtapes.com right now, I advise everyone to go check it out and get to know me and look out for Rap or Die 2. It’s a lot deeper and it’s more EPIC trust me!
