This week, the only major album to be released came from Wale with his third studio album, The Gifted. Getting off to a strong start, Wale released his “Bad” single that featured rising young singer, Tiara Thomas. Wale had big plans for Tiara Thomas and bragged about working with her.
As quickly as he started talking about her, Wale stopped as she opted to not go into business with him. Instead, Tiara Thomas decided to sign a deal with Interscope Records to work with Rico Love. No hard feelings, as Wale kept Tiara Thomas on the album, but he replaced her with Rihanna on “Bad.”
Today, Wale released The Gifted and he has the undivided attention of the rap game with his new album. Wale has made his rounds with the media, updated his fans through his vlogs, and now he is playing the numbers game. In the first week of his album sales, Wale is expected to debut at number one with 140-160,000 copies sold.
