Drake announces “Nothing Was the Same” release date and leaks four new songs

Four years ago, Drake took over the mixtape game and it led to his high-profile record deal with Young Money. Once Drake joined the team, the Cash Money Records resurgence was complete. Now, Drake is working on his third studio album, which is called Nothing Was the Same.

Anticipation has been high for Drake, as he started the year off with one of the first hits of the year. “Started from the Bottom” was the breakout lead single off the album and Drake followed it up with “5 AM in Toronto.” Both singles have done well and Drake is preparing a third single.

Nothing Was the Same is one of the most-anticipated albums of the year. Recently, the release date for the album was confirmed for September 17, 2013. Now, Drake has more songs released off the project, to be exact, there were four songs released off the upcoming album.
