It’s not that the Miami Heat hate Young Money, it’s just that they have longstanding issues with Lil Wayne. Over the past few months, Lil Wayne has done nothing but take shots at the players of the Miami Heat. However, Drake has always shouted out the franchise on his records.
Ironically, Drake’s rise to stardom in the rap game came right when the Miami Heat got everything going. Ultimately, the Miami Heat came up short in 2011, but they have managed to win every year since. The Miami Heat became the first franchise since the Los Angeles Lakers of both 2009 and 2010 to repeat as NBA champions.
The Miami Heat have survived it all and have their third NBA championship. Of course, both Heat fans and the bandwagoners want to celebrate with the Heat. Guys like Drake are those who really can celebrate with the Heat, or at least that was the assumption before security denied him entry to the players after the victory.
