Social networking has changed the landscape of communication. A common discussion is about the number of users on Facebook and Twitter. Instagram has recently joined the frenzy and all of the biggest companies use these networks to promote themselves. But, before all of this, MySpace was the place to be.

By 2007, MySpace became the biggest social networking site on the internet and one of the biggest websites, period. However, they wound up losing to Facebook because of the more mature atmosphere and simpler interface. Facebook has continuously made unpopular changes to their website, while MySpace has been working.

Ten years since its successful debut, MySpace is revamping to prepare a major transformation. Already, Justin Timberlake is a part-owner in MySpace and promotes his company online. Now, such names as Sir Michael Rocks and even Jimmy Kimmel have gotten behind MySpace 2.0.

With MySpace making its comeback, the music industry has flocked back to the site in droves. New applications on the new MySpace include the MyRadio, which allows people to create their own radio stations, and many more. The new MySpace appears to be user friendly and many users have returned to their accounts for the first time in years.
