Mac Miller talks “Watching Movies with the Sound Off” with Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

Going against the grain has become the norm in hip hop. While there are still rappers consumed with landing record deals and bombard the online label executives, there are bootstrappers like Mac Miller. From the way it seems, Mac Miller has no interest in joining a major label, as he is preparing to drop his second album on his own.

Watching Movies with the Sound Off is the sophomore album from Mac Miller and it came with plenty of promotion. Representing Pittsburgh, Mac Miller has broken out of the shadows to create his own lane. In between music releases, Mac Miller kept himself going with mixtapes and a reality show.

Mac Miller is now back in grind mode with Watching Movies with the Sound Off. His album is due next week and is going against Kanye West and J. Cole. Making his media rounds in promotion of the album, Mac Miller stopped by Power 105.1 to “The Breakfast Club” to speak on the album, the competition, Ariana Grande, and more.
