When Freddie Gibbs first left Corporate Thugz Entertainment, most assumed it was because of the situation with BMF. While Freddie Gibbs probably did not want his name associated with all of the drama, his issues were internal. Since 2011, Freddie Gibbs was running around with Young Jeezy and nothing came of it.
Young Jeezy had taken a hiatus and Freddie Gibbs was among the people he linked up with during his return to the game. Despite the enormous buzz Freddie Gibbs had, he had no album scheduled. Instead, Freddie Gibbs put out mixtapes and his album was never scheduled.
Considering it all fake promises, Freddie Gibbs left CTE and is solo. Freddie Gibbs is currently working on his debut album, ESGN. In promotion of this album, Freddie Gibbs is making his rounds with the media and stopped by DJ Skee to speak on ESGN and the friction with Young Jeezy.
