Always expect the unexpected so nothing comes as a surprise. At one point, some took it as a joke when Fred The Godson revealed he wanted to rap. Now, Fred The Godson is one of the biggest rappers in the game. With a major name, it is only fitting to have a major crew, which is TBM.

TBM, for those who do not know, stands for Talkin’ Bout Money. There are several members in this crew and they were all showcased on the Talkin’ Bout Money, Vol. 1 mixtape. An introduction, of sorts, to the TBM crew, Bam Vito is a member who came up big on the tape.

Bam Vito talked about some of the things he has lined up with Hip Hop Vibe. Since he appeared on the mixtape and even led a song, Bam Vito spoke on the TBM mixtape. As a member of TBM, Bam Vito also talked about Fred The Godson and his upcoming solo work.

Read the entire interview below:

How often did you record for Talkin’ Bout Money, Vol. 1? I recorded every day when we were working on the TBM mixtape.

What was your favorite part about recording the mixtape? My favorite part of recording the mixtape was getting the chance to work with the other artists.

Which of the songs do you prefer on the project? I like all the songs on the mixtape, I couldn’t really tell you what song I prefer.

How long have you known Fred The Godson? I have known Fred The Godson for about two years.

When did you realize he was going to be a force in the game? From the first time I heard Fred rap, I knew that he would be a major force in the game.

Will you appear on his next solo project? If the people want to hear Bam Vito, I will most likely be on his next solo project.

Speaking of solo work, when should we expect something from you? I dropped Smoking in Heaven on DatPiff late last year. I’m now working on part two, so you should be hearing something from me real soon.

How important do you feel it is for members of groups to have their own solo identity? I feel it is real important for an artist to have his or her own solo  identity, because I feel that is when an artist has more to prove.

What makes you unique as a standalone artist? I will let you be the judge of that.

Where can fans find you online? Find me on DatPiff.com, I am on Facebook as Bam Vito, Twitter is @gg_bamvito, and Bam_Vito5000 on Instagram.
