When most think of Detroit hip hop, they think Eminem. Well, they thought that until the summer of 2011. Big Sean has changed the focus of hip hop in Detroit and he is the leader of the sound. After waiting his turn, Big Sean became the focal point of G.O.O.D. Music in 2011.
Big Sean released nothing but consistent hits throughout 2011. Finally Famous: The Album is regarded as a recent classic by most. Say whatever, but at the least, Big Sean can make hits. The challenge for Big Sean now is to make more hits and he is indeed up to the challenge.
Recently, Big Sean talked to MTV News about the ups and downs of the rap game. He spoke on losing relationships over pursuing his dreams. Big Sean also spoke on working with Eminem on this upcoming album. After many rumors, the two confirmed they would be working together.
