Many of the biggest DJs in the game plan on releasing new material just in time for the summer. Thus far, DJs from the West Coast and New York City have also begun making their summer plans. A lot has come from several hip hop scenes, but St. Louis is one that has been overlooked.
DJ Mos P is filling this void, but her work is not limited to her city. Instead, DJ Mos P is working with artists from all over. As she puts together her Grip the Wheel, Vol. 2 mixtape compilation, DJ Mos P has recruited many of the biggest independent artists in the game and has continued to do so.
The latest addition to Grip the Wheel, Vol. 2 is Don Rio, an artist born in Africa, but raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has performed in many major cities, including Las Vegas. His name is picking up and DJ Mos P recognized this and added him to her upcoming mixtape, due later this summer.
