Dominating the Chicago hip hop scene is the GBE movement. Last summer, they rose to fame when Chief Keef released “I Don’t Like.” Soon, the entire roster was unveiled and they went about landing their own deals. Lil Durk rose to become one of the hottest members out of the crew and now his time has come.
Over in New York City, French Montana completed his takeover when he released his long-awaited Excuse My French LP. Since his deal is already completed, French Montana is now looking for the right deal for his Coke Boys’ group and label. French Montana has held meetings and recently added Lil Durk to his roster.
Lil Durk recently stopped by Shade 45 and this is when he talked to Sway Calloway for his morning show, “Sway in the Morning.” In the interview, Lil Durk spoke on the Coke Boys deal and his single, “Dis Ain’t What U Want,” which is doing well. During the interview, Lil Durk also talked about Common, Kanye West, and the Chicago hip hop veterans.
