There are too fears that come with a debut project, doing too good and not doing good enough. Safe to say, J. Cole falls into the category of “doing too good” in the case of his debut album, as his sophomore set looms. Once Cole World hit, fans immediately expected a sophomore album that did not come.

Born Sinner is due next month and boasts the “Power Trip” single. Once again, J. Cole is sharing a track with Miguel. Despite the song being one of the first major hits of the year, many have concerns about J. Cole this time around. Without question, J. Cole is one of the biggest rappers in the game, but many are feeling his time is over.

Hopefully, these cautious fans can find solace in the latest news. J. Cole is back in the headlines daily and it is for his music, as opposed to his activities. In his latest news, J. Cole has moved 47,000 more units of “Power Trip.” These latest numbers are enough for the single to certify gold with the RIAA.
