One of the hottest rappers in the mixtape game is Gunplay of Maybach Music. Last year, he rose to become one of the most-discussed rappers in the game. Gunplay captured headlines during the events that transpired at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards. Now, Gunplay has another mixtape in the works.
Starting out 2013 with a bang, Gunplay released his Cops N Robbers mixtape. The project served as the prequel to his 2013 work. Heading into this mixtape, Gunplay had charges he needed to beat, which he did and it has made it easier for him to refocus on his music and this comes with his latest mixtape.
Gunplay is back in the headlines and he is now working on Acquitted. The name of the mixtape is fitting, as it celebrates Gunplay’s current status. Earlier today, Gunplay released the official cover of the project. The official release date for this mixtape is June 11, giving fans three weeks to get ready.
