When he appeared on DJ Drama’s “My Moment,” 2 Chainz boldly boasted that he made more than he ever made with DTP “this year.” It was June when “My Moment,” also featuring Meek Mill was released. 2 Chainz’ net worth rose dramatically, but it is doubtful he can make the same boast about 2013 compared to 2012.
Last year was significant enough for 2 Chainz to still receive acclaim for it in 2013. With the month of May closing and June entering, fans of urban entertainment know what it means. It is almost time for the 2013 BET Awards and the nominees have already been listed.
2 Chainz is nominated for eight awards at the upcoming ceremony. While he is not the leading nominee, 2 Chainz has enough reasons to be happy. In celebration, 2 Chainz took himself down to hip hop’s favorite playground, Miami. Along with many others, 2 Chainz partied in Miami’s DREAM Nightclub to celebrate his long list of nominations.
