No typo, Tim Dog may have faked his own death. If it looks odd just reading it, imagine how it feels typing it. This past Valentine’s Day, hip hop received shocking news when it was learned that Tim Dog died at 46. But, ever since The Bronx rapper reportedly died, there have been rumors of him being alive still.

Despite his justification, Tim Dog released his “Fuck Compton” single for attention. All record execs wanted, at the time, was a West Coast-styled artist. Tim Dog had trouble gaining attention, so he released “Fuck Compton” and was brought into the epic bicoastal feud.

A woman in Mississippi has since claimed Tim Dog may have done the same thing with his death. Before Tim Dog’s untimely death, Ester Pilgrim said she was scammed out of $32,000 by him in a false business deal. Pilgrim also claims Tim Dog scammed twenty other people out of money and “died” to avoid the backlash from that.

An investigation was launched surrounding Tim Dog’s death and there is no death record. As of April 2013, there is an active address for Tim Dog in Atlanta, which makes the story even more interesting.
