Early in 2013, one of the first hits came from Wale with “Bad.” Two years ago, Wale took over the game with Ambition. Introducing the world to the Maybach Music Group, officially, Wale’s album did well. But, in 2012, Wale was noticeably missing in action while Rick Ross and Meek Mill took the spotlight.

Wale made up for his absence when he returned with “Bad.” Not only was the song a hit, it opened doors for Tiara Thomas. A rising singer in her own right, Tiara Thomas actually added Wale to the song. Weeks after “Bad” became a hit, Tiara Thomas released the solo version, an interpolation of Trillville’s “Some Cut.”

In a little over a month, Wale will release The Gifted, his third studio album. “Bad” is already doing well, but Wale has much more in store. Probably, before the official release of the album, another single off the album will come. But, in the meantime, Wale released the official cover to the album.
