These holograms are crazy, Eazy-E is coming back just in time for Rock the Bells. A lot of the time, the West Coast gets overlooked because of the East Coast. Personally, being from the East Coast, there are a lot of West Coast favorites. After all, there would be no gangsta rap without Eazy-E.

Before all the controversy, Eazy-E introduced NWA to the world in 1988 with their release, Straight Outta Compton. Tomorrow marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the release of the single. There are various reasons to spotlight NWA for the Wednesday Throwback for today.

NWA consisted of Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren, DJ Yella, and Arabian Prince. The group burst into mainstream stardom with “Straight Outta Compton.” Immediately, they caught the attention of the world and they forever changed the course of hip hop. It is really a shame Eazy-E and NWA don’t receive more attention.
