Moving from one situation to another, Nicki Minaj is grabbing headlines over her ongoing situation with Mariah Carey. The two being at each other’s throats has led to them possibly being removed from the series.
While the controversy has cast the spotlight on them, Nicki Minaj has proven all press does not necessarily mean good press. But, Nicki Minaj continues to dominate with her music and her personality. Recently, Nicki Minaj did the “High School” music video with label boss, Lil Wayne.
In spite of her high-profile arguments with Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj is still viewed as innocent in the eyes of the media. Recently, Teen Vogue had Nicki Minaj to cover their latest issue. During the Teen Vogue feature, Nicki Minaj talked about her rough childhood.

On her rough childhood: “Every time my parents fought, my mother would have us move and I would have to go to a new school, which meant I’d have to face the task of making new friends. I dreaded it. I had butterflies in my stomach each time: Are people going to like or hate me? … Sometimes there’d be a fight, sometimes not. I let people know I wasn’t going to be pushed around.”
