In a sense of irony, Lil’ Kim’s comeback efforts have been overshadowed by those of her longtime rival, Foxy Brown. Controversy worked a little while the first time Lil’ Kim tried coming back, but this time she is keeping her focus on the music. Lil’ Kim is back and in businesswoman mode with Tiffany Foxx being her main priority.
While Lil’ Kim appears to be taking a backseat to promote Tiffany Foxx, her being a legend in her own right cannot be ignored. There are a lot of fans out there who still want to hear what Lil’ Kim has next, or her classic singles from the past. Lil’ Kim, within herself, remains a major draw.
The peak of Lil’ Kim’s career took place in 2001, when she released The Notorious K.I.M., a platinum album. Her tour for this album brought her to London, where she has not performed since then. All of this is set to change, however, as Lil’ Kim will be performing at the Lovebox Festival in London on July 21.
