Since last winter, Pusha T has talked about his My Name is My Name album. Two years have gone by since fans first expected Pusha T to drop an official album. In the time since he signed with G.O.O.D. Music, Pusha T has released two successful mixtapes and a well-received EP.
Entering 2013, Pusha T delivered one more mixtape, Wrath of Caine, which featured appearances from Rick Ross, among others. As the mixtapes have evolved, they have become an appetizer to the full course meals that are the albums. Pusha T continued this trend, while making fans wait for My Name is My Name.
With the summer here and the weather finally cooperating, Pusha T is making plans to go ahead and drop his album. My Name is My Name remains one of 2013’s most-anticipated albums. Def Jam recently announced the release date of July 16 for the album through their Twitter.
