Before he even got into the promotion of his Indicud album, Kid Cudi announced he left G.O.O.D. Music. Over the past few years, Kid Cudi has been less and less active with the record label. Despite his departure from the label, Kid Cudi remains very close to former label boss, Kanye West.
Kid Cudi has close ties with many of the new generation of hip hop stars. Long before they were famous, Kendrick Lamar and A$AP Rocky had co-signs from Kid Cudi. Now, they are two of the biggest stars in the game. Alongside King Chip, Kid Cudi featured them on his “Solo Dolo, Pt. 2” track.
MTV News caught up with Kid Cudi and he talked about his features with the biggest new names on the East and West Coast. During the interview, Kid Cudi explained how he put the track together. Equally known as a producer and rapper, Kid Cudi spoke on what his goals were in putting this track together.
