Right now, Rocko is one of the hottest rappers in the game. “U.O.E.N.O.” is one of the hottest songs out right now. A bonus for Rocko, in terms of media exposure, came when controversy surrounded Rick Ross’ verse. Rick Ross got into trouble with “U.O.E.N.O.” when he inadvertently promoted date rape on the song.
Reebok caved under the pressure and they dropped Rick Ross from their roster. Around the same time, Rocko released a new version of “U.O.E.N.O.,” featuring Wiz Khalifa. But, later Rocko would join Ace Hood, Slim Thug, and Meek Mill in defending Rick Ross and said he did not replace Rick Ross, he is working on the mixtape.
Yesterday morning, Rocko was in New York City and he stopped by Hot 97’s morning show. Rocko talked to Ebro, K. Foxx, DJ Cipha Sounds, and Peter Rosenberg. During the interview, Rocko spoke on Rick Ross and the “U.O.E.N.O.” remixes and also about his work with Future, which came after Dem Franchize Boyz.
