Always searching for the hottest talent in the streets, Gucci Mane began working with Young Scooter last summer. Before teaming with Gucci Mane, Young Scooter was presented as the product of Rocko and Future. While he maintains close ties with Future and Rocko, Young Scooter presented himself as his own artist.
Young Scooter built his own buzz in Atlanta and it led to Gucci Mane reaching out to him for a few projects. Back in 2011, Gucci Mane teamed up with Future for their joint mixtape, Free Bricks. For the sequel, Gucci Mane and Young Scooter came together and the streets loved Free Bricks 2.
Both rappers have had their scrapes with the law and both were arrested and are currently spending time behind bars. With Gucci Mane and Young Scooter both in jail at the Dekalb County Jail, it appears as if the two collaborators are spending time behind bars and in the same cell. These rumors have not yet been confirmed or even spoken on from sources close to either emcee.
