Most would say Rick Ross was the victor in the 2009 feud involving him and 50 Cent. Until this period of time, 50 Cent had a “list” of careers he ended. 50 Cent included Ja Rule, Fat Joe, and Cam’ron on this “list.” When Rick Ross first dissed him, 50 Cent threatened to add him to the list, but got something unexpected.
Instead, Rick Ross rose to become the biggest rapper in the game, while 50 Cent languished. Quitting is never an option for 50 Cent, so he continued working. The new generation of hip hoppers, including Ace Hood and Meek Mill, are up in arms because Reebok dropped Rick Ross from their roster.
Before Rick Ross was the face of Reebok, 50 Cent was and made $80 million. Rick Ross’ appearance on Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.” cost him big time with the date rape lyric. While the friends of Rick Ross are angered, 50 Cent laughed at the situation and released a meme showing how he feels.
