Slim Thug offers his opinion on Rick Ross and Reebok via Twitter

At least for the time being, the mainstream media is against Rick Ross for him inadvertently promoting date rape on Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.” Though Rick Ross meant nothing by the lyric, it cost him almost everything. In the beginning, Rick Ross immediately gained the support of Ace Hood and Meek Mill.

Since this lyric has cost Rick Ross his partnership with Reebok, he has issued a few statements and more rappers have spoken out. Even Rocko, himself, has talked about the situation, saying everything was blown out of proportion. Rocko has since replaced the Rick Ross verse with a Wiz Khalifa verse.

Yesterday, Slim Thug took to his Twitter to offer his two cents on the situation and he is another Rick Ross supporter. A few years ago, there were rumors of beef between the two rappers. This is not the case and Slim Thug showed how much of a supporter he was with his recent tweet.

Read Slim Thug’s tweet below:

And I guess ppl put rape over murder cause ppl can talk about killing n***as all day that’s cool but u put a b**** on Molly. They ain’t care about all the dope he was rapping bout selling when they signed him but now they tripping after all that promo. All I’m saying is its a rap song and he didn’t say he bout to rape a b**** so he shouldn’t have lost a deal over it. Before we know it rappers are not going to be able to curse no mo on their albums cause somebody whose not a rap fan was offended f*** that.
