They don’t call him “The Genius” for nothing, as GZA has always been the intellectual member of Wu-Tang Clan. Recently closing his Northeastern tour with DJ Symphony, GZA is already knee-deep in his next project. While music will always have his heart, GZA also cares about giving back.
Before the fortune and fame of hip hop, GZA was one the children who was a part of the public school system of New York. Everyone has a dream and GZA is one of the few who focused in on this dream and made it come true. But, GZA has always promoted an education and is, as previously stated, called “The Genius.”
Though this story initially broke over a week ago, it is still an interesting tidbit. Much like former NBA all-star, Adrian Dantley working as a school traffic guard, GZA is working with the kids. GZA is currently working as a substitute science teacher at various New York schools.
