Last week, ScHoolboy Q invaded Los Angeles in promotion of “Yay Yay.” The song is the first single off ScHoolboy Q’s upcoming album, Oxymoron. In the interviews, ScHoolboy Q revealed a lot about himself. If Kendrick Lamar is the good kid from the m.a.a.d. city, ScHoolboy Q was the good kid who chose the m.a.a.d. city.

“Yay Yay” has been out for two weeks and has already become an anthem. An ode to his past as a hustler before joining Top Dawg Entertainment, ScHoolboy Q has set the tone for his 2013. Oxymoron is ScHoolboy Q’s major label debut, but his overall third studio album.

Recently, ScHoolboy Q took to his Instagram to reveal the upcoming remix to his breakout single. If there is anyone who knows about a hustling past, it is Young Jeezy, who released three albums under this title. With his “R.I.P.” single doing well, Jeezy is looking to get himself back out there.
